Argentium Silver Spiral Granulated Earrings
Handcrafted drop earrings in Argentium silver, each featuring a spiral of fused granules that flow with quiet movement. Light and graceful, they bring subtle rhythm and sculptural balance to the wearer.
The Spiral Granulated Earrings are a continuation of my exploration into form, rhythm, and ancient technique. Each earring begins as a small spiral of fine granules, fused by heat alone in Argentium silver. The gentle drop from the lobe gives them a sense of movement while remaining refined and easy to wear.
The design draws inspiration from my enduring fascination with ancient metalwork, particularly the jewellery of the Mesopotamians and Etruscans. I was captivated by their mastery of granulation and the way they used texture and light to express both beauty and meaning. These earrings translate that ancient artistry into a contemporary form, celebrating the simplicity and precision of hand-fused silver.
Each pair is crafted in my Edinburgh studio from Argentium silver, a bright, hypoallergenic, and highly tarnish-resistant metal sourced from recycled precious silver. The result is a design that feels both delicate and strong, with a calm sculptural presence.
Every pair carries a full Edinburgh Assay Office Hallmark, a mark of authenticity and assurance of quality that reflects a proud tradition of British craftsmanship.
