Handcrafted in sterling silver, the Herringbone Circular Studs bring a sculptural open circle into the herringbone series. Each earring is formed with an outer ring of smooth round wire and a twisted herringbone section set just inside the curve. The centre of the circle is left open, giving the design a light and balanced feel on the ear. At the top of the circle sits a small twisted ring topped with a single granule, creating a subtle focal point that completes the composition.
Every element is shaped and soldered by hand in my Edinburgh studio. The combination of the polished round wire and the textured herringbone section creates a rhythmic surface that reflects the ancient Egyptian wirework that inspired this collection. With a post and butterfly fitting, these earrings sit flat on the ear and offer a bold yet refined presence.
These earrings fall under weight exemption and do not carry a hallmark.
