Each earring is formed from a narrow herringbone section made by twisting the silver wires in opposite directions. A smooth central round wire runs up through the middle of the herringbone and continues down the back of the piece to form the hook, creating a clean uninterrupted line from top to bottom.
The contrast between the detailed herringbone texture and the smooth central wire gives the earrings a refined linear look with a gentle sense of movement. Their long slim profile makes them light and comfortable to wear while adding a distinctive vertical accent. Shaped and soldered by hand in my Edinburgh studio, these earrings offer an elegant interpretation of the ancient twisted wire techniques that inspired the Herringbone Collection.
