Each earring is formed from tiny fused Argentium granules with a central gold granule and six gold tipped points. The darkened silver enhances the brightness of the gold, giving the studs a bold and elegant character. Light and compact, they sit neatly on the ear with a refined and expressive presence.
The granules are individually formed and fused by hand in my Edinburgh studio, allowing the star shape to develop naturally through the process. The oxidised finish adds depth to the design and brings a contemporary edge to the traditional granulation technique. With their distinctive colour contrast, these studs stand alone as a modern statement or can be paired with other oxidised pieces in the collection.
These earrings fall under exemption weight and do not require hallmarking, although hallmarking can be requested for an additional cost.
