Linear Teardrop Brooch / Pendant
Why decide between a brooch and a pendant when you can have both! This brooch can be turned into a pendant in one easy step so you can change from day to night and style it your way depending on your outfit.
This brooch was designed as one of a set of three especially for the Pin Ups Exhibition at Coburg House. I created a Triptych Linear Brooch Collection which I entitled The Evolution of Ideas. When making work I often lay units down in different ways as I create them and take pictures of these to inform future work. While making a Linear Teardrop Bracelet I did exactly that and developed the idea for a triptych of brooches all using the same basic elements in different stages of construction, and put together differently.
I then added a curved tube section with bail so it can be worn as a pendant or a brooch depending on your mood or outfit choice.
Dimensions – 5cm dia x 1cm (x 6cm with bail)
Chain Length - available in 16” (40cm), 18” (45cm) or 20” (50cm) or let me know if you would prefer a different length and I can make one up to order.
Materials – Sterling Silver (Edinburgh Hallmark)
Item beautifully packaged in a Jenny Deans Jewellery branded box. I use high quality eco friendly packaging wherever possible.
