Linear Teardrop Brooch / Pendant

£545.00

Handcrafted in sterling silver, the Linear Teardrop Brooch can be worn as either a brooch or a pendant, depending on your mood or outfit. Its sculptural design captures the flowing rhythm and repetition that define the Linear Range, while its dual function brings versatility and ease. The piece combines strength and grace, with a smooth, reflective surface that catches the light beautifully.

This brooch was first created as part of the Pin Ups exhibition at Coburg House, where I designed a Triptych Linear Brooch Collection entitled The Evolution of Ideas. While making a Linear Teardrop Bracelet, I began experimenting with laying out the silver elements in different ways. These variations became a source of inspiration for the triptych, each brooch representing a different stage in the evolution of the design. The addition of a curved tube section with a hidden bail allows this piece to be worn as both a brooch and a pendant, giving it a subtle flexibility that reflects its origins in experimentation and play.

The Linear Teardrop Brooch captures the architectural rhythm and handcrafted precision that run throughout the Linear Range. It is an elegant, sculptural piece that transitions easily from day to evening, worn close to the body as a pendant or displayed proudly as a brooch.
