Handcrafted in sterling silver, the Linear Curved Brooch brings together sculptural design and adaptable wear. Created to be worn as either a brooch or a pendant, it allows you to change your look with ease, moving seamlessly from day to evening. Its curved form catches the light beautifully, combining strength, rhythm, and quiet elegance.
This piece was originally designed as part of the Pin Ups exhibition at Coburg House, where I created a Triptych Linear Brooch Collection entitled The Evolution of Ideas. While making a Linear Teardrop Bracelet, I began arranging the silver elements in different ways and documenting their layouts to inform future designs. These experiments became the foundation for a trio of brooches, each exploring a different stage in the evolution of form. The addition of a curved tube section with a hidden bail allows this piece to be worn as either a pendant or a brooch, making it versatile and expressive.
The Linear Curved Brooch embodies the architectural rhythm and sculptural character at the heart of the Linear Range. It is a refined piece that reflects the movement of silver and the thoughtful process behind its making.
